woots. Apparently this pastor made some un-nice comments about others’ religion and got it bad when the minister told him off. (come on, it’s a real common thing in S’pore)
Hey, at least he apologized.
Well, how about thinking twice before you speak or post those online?
That might just save him from embarassment. Really.

Thank you (some of you - Sandy and Mr Invisible and YF)

for praising my poem.

I wouldn’t call it poetry cuz I never really studied about literature and I do not know the structure and how to write poems.

That was just my random piece of work.

It just pretty sums up how I feel at that instant.

Nothing fanciful.

Because before I decided to post it.. someone told me not to cuz he said it is really awful.

So. Well. At least I’m glad someone likes it.

(Be it just 3 of you…)

Thanks guys.. :)

Torn pages of my Notebook.

Torn pages from my notebook.

A collection of Scribbles.

Of my random thoughts and feelings.

To maintain my Sanity.

It ended up like a neglected misplace piece of un-important paper.

Carried away by the wind.

Like the dust. Or distant memories.

Lost and forgotten.

I said to Dev.

“When I come here, I realise FRIENDS have a whole new definition.”

It is probably mixed up with strangers or acquaintances.

Everything is based on a (or many) motives or objective.

It is shallow and on the surface kind-of- relationship.

It is like:

 (Once its over, I don't think I have anything to do with you)
Do you even know their full name?
Or where they stay?
Or which school they came from?
Do you ever care for their life and death?

Just makes me wonder…

~~

Where have my dear friends been…? How are they?

Miss you.

The Nanyang Times.

2010 January 23
by Jia Jia

Hi Hi.

I am launchin’ another new category, (My) Nanyang Times. It will contain bits and pieces of juicy and not-so-juicy bits of things mostly discussed by our school weekly/monthly newsletter (The nanyang chronicles- see link)

In older times, I used to read my ex-school’s newsletter. It wasn’t so exciting.

This campus has a school of communication (Wee kim wee school of communication). If you happen to laugh at the name please don’t.

Wee Kim Wee is a very respectable man and was once president of Singapore. Before he became a president, he was a journalist.

And he passed away. (sad).

Anyway, this nanyang chronicle publish almost every month (I lost tracks) and it discuss about bread-butter issues of Students here.

Their techniques of writing are pretty fresh. Juicy. Sarcastic.

Mind you, their sharpness might just cause some bleeding!

They have these columns where we can always write back to the student-editors.

Sometimes you may see really un-nice but funny things.

Like for example this issue: someone wrote to the editor because she felt that the previous issue sounds a little unfair to girls.

And also someone wrote to the column because of foreign students issues.

Oh, many of them even complained/ protest that they do not have the opportunity to use the air-condition bus stops (whereas other buses have)~

Why complained about not having an air-condition bus stops?

Why don’t the indians complained about their almost screwed up buses?

Or why don’t the Africans complained that they have to walk to school. (in kilometers scale)?

Complain COMPLAIN.

(Arrgh, somemore it made the headlines).

No wonder THEY called us spolit kids.

I am a Singaporean. BUT I am not spoilt.

THANKS hor~.

Do watchout more from my nanyang times.

Juicy. :)

Hello. Once again.

Hi guys.

My habit is to suddenly disappear and re-appear again.

So here I am again. To tell you that I will disappear again.

Haha.

What is your resolution for this new year?

To learn a new langauge?

To try a new sports (such as tennis or yoga)

Your truly (me) took  a totally fresh subject. (anthronpology)

So what do I do this that I study about cultures.

The lecturer turned out to be a fair-skin, petite and beautiful lady from India (delhi). Her name is Miss Tania and she looks and sounds pleasant.

Pleasant lecturer. I have not seen one for ages.

Great. We talked about religion half of the time.

I am sure I will blog about this sometime later.

Do tune in to hear more from me.

Til then,

Take care and stay well and happy.

Love, Jia.

Seeing people getting grope, what would you do?

Ohh, looks like something ugly hits the frontline again.

Any young children out there, close your eyes.

Well. Our local Super gossip-py webisite STOMP release a few unglam pictures of a poor girl who was groped by 4 men.

If you are excited to find out more, you can click on the pics for links.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There are many people discussing about it over the internet and in Stomp.

Why do you care?

Talk so much.. you go up the stage and drag her down lah! ( That’s Singaporean Accent)

Anyway, it just shows pretty much of our society here.

It is freaking sad because you actually see people snapping photos of her (bikini shots) and videos but no one lends her a hand.

(Well, I think she’s too drunk to even realise your helping hand!)

Poor girl.

There you go, it reminds us once again that IF you can’t drink… better don’t.

Or esle, one might just ended up making headlines and being mocked by some unfeeling guys.

Oh, and don’t wear so little.

Stalking is easy with Facebook.

2010 January 6
by Jia Jia

Sometimes it is quite interesting to stalk someone and discover their tiny secrets and how they lived before they know you.

I like to stalk boyfriend. Tho’ most of the time it ends with slight discomforts.

Stalking people is now so easy with facebook.

That’s what pathetic P uses to track YF movement. Haha. (sorry, yinz!)

 ~~~
I read the news that facebook has becoming a part of everyone’s live and it is so dangerous because it leaks out everything. I repeat EVERYTHING.
Recently one unfortunate guy has been sacked from the company. He filed in for MC and was discovered by the company that he was attending a rock band concert on the very day he applied for leave.
Apparently, the company discovered a few pics of his (tagged in the facebook).
Another guy suffered from a similar fate.
He recently lost his divorce case to his ex wife because he uploaded his intimate pictures with his new girlfriend.
Silly. But funny.
Next time, when you want to post something up to FB… think twice :)
